SummerFest is back at Gaylord Palms starting May 25.

Celebrate the sunshine season at Gaylord Palms with the return of their annual SummerFest, featuring family-friendly entertainment and experiences.

From May 25 – Aug. 12, guests can combine their hotel stay at Gaylord Palms with daily activities throughout the resort.

During the summer, Cypress Springs Water Park will host the Summer Pool Party, where guests can splash and dance along to classic and modern tunes spun by DJ Sunny.

The School’s Out for Summer Sing-A-Long Show will have guests young and old singing their hearts out, as the SummerFest singers perform pop and rock hits on the Cypress Springs Stage.

The new, experimental Florida Explorer Scavenger Hunt will have every guest become a “Florida Explorer” inside the atriums. Guests will get a compass and begin their journey through the resort’s flora and fauna, solving puzzles and finding clues as they go. Scavenger hunt activity books and compasses can be purchased for $6.99.

Those guests who think themselves brave enough can test their might on the Swamp Witch Escape Ghost Tour, where they will become a part of a real Florida ghost story. A tour guide will lead guests through the swamps inside the atrium as they tell the tale of Bessie Budd-Graham, the swamp witch of Tallahassee.

At the end of the tour, guests will come face-to-face with the ghost of Bessie herself, and work together to escape her curse. This experience is additional to a stay at Gaylord Palms, and costs $14.99 per person.

Guests can also check out the Paint the Waves Surf Show, which highlights the resort’s surf team as they show off their skills on the resort’s FlowRider Double, The Wake Zone.

The Wake Zone will also be home to some of the best surfing talent when it hosts the U.S. FLOW Tour Championships on Sunday, Aug. 11. Guests can watch the top competitors from the world of flowboarding attempt to earn a national title.

Every night during SummerFest, guests can enjoy the SummerFest Atrium Light Show, which celebrates the spirit of summertime with bright and colorful lights.

On weekends and select days, guests can build their own furry friend at Build-A-Bear Workshop, at an additional cost.

For adults guests seeking a relaxing getaway, the Relâche Spa has special SummerFest Florida Explorer Escape treatment offerings, including:

  • Everglades Detoxifying Mud Wrap and Massage Treatment – designed to detoxify the body with the mud of the Florida everglades. The treatment ends with a custom massage. This 80-minute treatment is $170 plus a service charge.
  • St. Augustine Fountain of Youth Gold Facial – guests can enjoy a gold or a diamond mask, followed by a hand and arm treatment. This 50-minute treatment includes a complimentary home care eye treatment, and costs $145 plus a service charge.
  • Key West Sea Mist Pedicure – guests can dip their toes into a foot soak, followed by a citrus pumice scrub and lime essence lotion. This treatment is 50 minutes long, and includes a complimentary mini lotion, all for $65 plus service charge.

Guests who book all three Florida Explorer Escape treatments will receive a 15 percent discount.

For guests looking to make the most of their visit, they can purchase the SummerFest Package, with rates starting at $214 per night, plus taxes and fees. The package includes two drink tumblers that include unlimited refills, along with a $25 resort credit per night.

Guests can upgrade their experience with a SummerFest Premium Package, which is limited to a select number each day.
