Give Kids the World Village takes a trip to Galaxy’s Edge with over 140 Wish families

More than 140 Wish families staying at Give Kids the World Village will be welcomed into Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge throughout this week during special community previews.

Disney grants more than 8,000 wishes each year at Walt Disney World Resort, and continues to hold the spot as the top-requested Wish destination among children and their families.

“One moment of magic can make a world of difference for Wish children and their families,” said Tajiana Ancora-Brown, director of external affairs for Walt Disney World Resort. “We are honored to help these families create treasured, lifelong memories, especially in a land like Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, where they can become the heroes of their own Star Wars stories.”

The news of the trip was shared with families during a recent celebration at the Village, where they were given all the accessories they might need for a trip to Batuu.
