Graceland kicks off holiday season with virtual Christmas lighting ceremony

by Attractions Magazine Staff

On Nov. 19, Elvis Presley’s Graceland will continue its traditional Christmas lighting ceremony. Starting at 6 p.m. Central Time, the destination will hold a Facebook Live so Elvis fans of all ages can watch his home dazzle in holiday lights.

From Dec. 1-20, special Christmas tours will be hosted from 2-4 p.m., and stories about Elvis’ holiday time at Graceland will be shared as well. The tour was voted USA Today’s Best Holiday Historic Home Tour, and it’s currently nominated again for the second year in a row.

Elvis Presley’s Memphis Entertainment Complex will also be decorated for the season, and fans can learn more about his legacy through new interactive virtual and augmented reality technology. All of this is included in the ticket price.

New this year are gift cards that can be redeemable for tours, event tickets, gift shops and restaurants at the complex, The Guest House and online. For more information about Christmas at Graceland, visit Graceland.com.
