Walt Disney World guests now have a limited time to catch “The Muppets Present…Great Moments in American History,” as the show is set to close this fall.

Cast members have been told that the last day for the show is Oct. 5, though Disney has said that they have nothing to share on the topic at this time.
In the show, Sam Eagle joins Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, the Great Gonzo, and James Jefferson – the town crier – as they recount two exciting events in American history: the midnight ride of Paul Revere and the signing of the Declaration of Independence. The show is performed in the second-story window of the Heritage House in Liberty Square, next to the Hall of Presidents attraction.
If you still need your Muppet fix at Walt Disney World, fear not! MuppetVision 3-D is still open for business at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, as well as the rat pizza-filled dining establishment, PizzeRizzo.

Another entertainment offering is also coming to an end at Magic Kingdom on Oct. 5 – the Royal Majesty Makers, a group of roaming actors found during the morning hours in Fantasyland.
With this entertainment offering, a royal knight and his friends would roam Fantasyland on a quest to find the bravest guest who could pull the sword from the stone. You can see them in this throwback segment from “The Attractions Show” below:
Stay tuned for any updates regarding these entertainment offerings.
