Green Eggs and Ham reopens at Universal Orlando with a new menu

The Green Eggs and Ham food stand in Seuss Landing at Universal’s Islands of Adventure has finally reopened! They are serving all sorts of potato tots, including a can of Who Hash.

UPDATE – 12/05/19: A Universal Orlando spokesperson has provided a statement on the Green Eggs and Ham opening timeframe:

Throughout the month of December, guests can enjoy the Green Eggs and Ham Cafe in Seuss Landing, where they can enjoy unique and exciting menu items such as Green Eggs & Ham Tots and Who Hash. The cafe will be open every day from 9:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.

The large green ham food stand is an icon in Seuss landing, but it’s usually not open. Over the past 10 or more years, it’s only been open on select busy days, but the building recently got a fresh coat of paint and new menu, so it seems to be open to stay, at least through the busy holiday season.

The menu includes Pizza Tots (a version of the famous Pizza Fries from Halloween Horror Nights), Green Eggs & Ham Tots, Buffalo Chicken Tots, S’mores Nutella and Who Hash. When it was open before, they sold a Green Eggs and Ham sandwich. That hasn’t returned.

Here’s a look at the Green Eggs & Ham Tots and a can of Who Hash. The eggs are made green naturally with spinach and parsley. The Who Hash is $5 more than the other options and contains as much or less food, but you get to keep the metal can as a souvenir. It says “Who-ville’s Who Hash Containing 100% Natural Who-Beef”.

Here’s a look at all the options. The one on the right seems to be an order of plain tots with cheese. If you’re planning on a visit, go for lunch or breakfast because they usually close at 4:30 p.m.

You may also see the characters hanging around. Here’s The Lorax with Sam I Am. Guy I Am was also seen walking around earlier in the day.

There’s a new animated Green Eggs and Ham show now streaming on Netflix. That could be the reason for reopening the food stand. Here’s a look at the trailer:
