In “Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers,” The Shape has escaped and is on his way back to Haddonfield, leaving blood and mayhem in his wake. Your only hope is Dr. Loomis, Michael’s fire-scarred former psychiatrist — but will he get there before it’s too late?

In addition, the fan-favorite Terror Tram will return, this time inspired by Universal Pictures and Blumhouse Productions’ film franchise, “The Purge.” Onboard “Terror Tram: The Ultimate Purge,” guests will have to survive the annual tradition as they travel along the Universal backlot; for those unaware, “The Purge” is a one-night event in which all crime is legal, including murder. However, as the latest film, “The Forever Purge” depicts, members of an underground movement believe that The Purge should be every day, and plan to overtake America through mayhem and massacre.

Universal Studios Hollywood has also shared what scare zones fans can look forward to traversing through:

  • “Universal Monsters: Silver Scream Queenz” – Adjacent to the “Universal Monsters: The Bride of Frankenstein Lives” maze, this will be the first all-female scare zone featuring The Bride herself, Anck-Su-Namun The Mummy, Dracula’s Daughter, and She-Wolf of London.
  • “Chainsaw Rangers” – A diabolical gang of chainsaw-wielding maniacs are ready to strike upon those who dare to enter Halloween Horror Nights.
  • “Demon City” – New York Street will transform as bloodthirsty, demonic clubgoers prowl the night looking for their next victims.

In addition, the award-winning hip hop dance crew Jabbawockeez is back with nightly performances of its high-energy show, featuring intense dance moves, special effects, and pulse-pounding music.

In light of these announcements, new ticket options are also now available, including the R.I.P. Tour, Ultimate Fear and Frequent Fear passes.

Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood runs on select dates from Sept. 9 through Oct. 31. To learn more, and to purchase tickets, visit Hollywood.HalloweenHorrorNights.com.
