Halloween Horror Nights 2025 at Universal Orlando: Haunted houses, scare zones, dates, tickets
Halloween Horror Nights 2025 at Universal Studios Florida will begin Aug. 29 with haunted houses, scare zones, and live entertainment — plus the event’s debut of “Five Nights at Freddy’s” and the return of Premium Scream Night.
Dates for HHN 2025 in Orlando
Halloween Horror Nights 2025 (aka HHN34), Universal Orlando Resort’s annual haunt, will kick off with opening night on Aug. 29, 2025 and continue select nights through Nov. 2, 2025. (The event’s counterpart at Universal Studios Hollywood in California will take place select nights Sept. 4 – Nov. 2, 2025.)

HHN takes place at Universal Studios Florida and does not extend to Universal Islands of Adventure or the new Universal Epic Universe.

As of July, 10, 2025, all ticket types for Halloween Horror Nights 2025 in Orlando are now available, including Frequent Fear Passes, R.I.P. Tours, Express Passes, and Premium Scream Night (happening Aug. 28, the night before the event officially begins).

Theme around the whole park
“The Conservatory” will be an overall theme of Halloween Horror Nights 2025. Gothic textures. Stained glass. Gargoyles. “As soon as we cross those turnstiles, we are going to be hit with those tones and textures…” as one of the artists explained during a panel at the Spooky Empire horror convention on June 20.
The word of the year is “immersive.” Guests will be immersed in HHN everywhere they go in the park.

‘Five Nights at Freddy’s’
Based on: “Five Nights at Freddy’s” 2023 film

Description:
Get ready for the night watch at the creepy, abandoned Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria, where nothing is what it seems and possessed animatronics are lurking around every corner.

The “Five Nights at Freddy’s” haunted house will also be part of the west-coast Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood.
‘WWE Presents: The Horrors of The Wyatt Sicks’
Based on: WWE and Bray Wyatt

Description:
Horror fans brave enough to travel through the light of the lantern will find themselves transported into the maniacal minds of The Wyatt Sicks, where each member reigns supreme within their own horrific domains.

The WWE haunted house will also be part of the west-coast Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood.
‘Terrifier’
Based on: “Terrifier 2”

Description:
Try your luck against Art the Clown in the Terrifier funhouse. You’ll witness his grotesque handiwork of torture and be exposed to the spatter of his victims. It’s a whole new level of gore!

‘Gálkn: Monsters of the North’

This haunted house expands on the lore of “Slaughter Sinema 2,” a haunted house from 2024’s Halloween Horror Nights. That house presented a collection of fictional movies, one of which was “Hatchet and Chains: Demon Bounty Hunters.”
‘El Artista: A Spanish Haunting’

Description:
In 19th century Spain, a tortured artist moves into an isolated country manor for inspiration, but the art comes alive and possesses him.

Universal announced “El Artista” during a special panel at the Spooky Empire 2025 horror convention, where artists also shared concept renderings for the haunted house. They said ghosts will be bursting through paintings and bursting through the wall!
The titular character from “El Artista” is named Sergio Navarro.
‘Jason Universe’
Based on: “Friday the 13th” films

Description:
“Jason Universe” will take Halloween Horror Nights guests on a vengeance tour throughout the summer camp to see where it all began, from the creaking floorboards of Jason’s ramshackle cabin to the decaying main lodge and the eerie forest that offers no refuge for his victims. Around every corner, fans will be inundated with infamous killer moments from Jason’s heinous homicidal career as he taunts and stalks his victims who learn too late that the legend is real.

‘Fallout’
Based on: “Fallout” series (2024) on Prime Video, itself based on the video game series

Description:
In this terrifying haunted house, fans will encounter iconic scenes and characters that will put them into the frightening action of the popular series. The journey begins beneath the surface in Vault 33, where guests follow vault-dweller Lucy MacLean as she escapes a bloody massacre, only to discover an evil hidden secret. From there, visitors venture to the surface, where they must dodge attacks from Scavengers and Raiders, desperate survivors who will do anything to remain alive, as well as mutated cockroaches known as RAD Roaches. As guests travel through the hellish Wasteland, they will go through iconic locations like the Super Duper Mart and encounter The Ghoul, an ageless bounty hunter who has endured radiation exposure for centuries. Additionally, they will come face-to-face with a young squire named Maximus and gaze in awe at his T-60 armor. With frightful terrors at every turn of the eerily authentic haunted house, fans will question if they can ever escape the horrors of The Wasteland.

New for 2025: ‘Street experiences’
New for 2025, Universal Orlando will introduce what it’s referring to as “street experiences” at Halloween Horror Nights. Universal specifically did not use the phrase “scare zone” in announcing these attractions, which will be titled “Mel’s Die-In Zombies” and “Club Horror.”
Brave all-new street experiences that take the horror to new heights — featuring zombie carhops, undead DJs and more. Details coming soon.

This once-vibrant circus has festered into an unending nightmare. It’s a sinister spectacle of pyro, aerialists, and illusions.
