Hear behind-the-scenes Imagineering stories at Give Kids The World Presents: Tony Baxter
If you’re a fan of Disney theme parks, you won’t want to miss the opportunity to hear from a Disney Imagineering Legend at the Give Kids The World Presents: Tony Baxter event on April 7 and 8, 2023, at Give Kids The World Village in Kissimmee, Fla.
Tony Baxter, the former senior vice president of creative development for Walt Disney Imagineering, created designs and oversaw construction for attractions around the world, including Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Star Tours, Splash Mountain, The Indiana Jones Adventure, and Journey Into Imagination. He also served as the executive producer of Disneyland Paris.
On April 7 at 7 p.m., Baxter will share behind-the-scenes stories about the creation of Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, from the initial “blue sky” concepts to the attraction’s opening day. Then, on April 8, 2023, at 2 p.m., he’ll talk about “all things Epcot,” including the creation of Journey Into Imagination.
Give Kids The World Presents: Tony Baxter Tickets
Only 300 tickets are available for each session, with single event, two-day, and VIP Meet-and-Greet options available. All proceeds from ticket sales will benefit Give Kids The World Village to make magical dreams come true for critically ill children and their families.
- Single Day VIP Tickets ($149.99 + $4.75 Fee) – The VIP experience begins with a meet and greet with Tony Baxter in The Hoppening Place at Give Kids The World Village. VIP ticket holders will enjoy hors d’oeuvres as Tony answers questions and poses for photos (VIP guests will receive a signed photo). Following the VIP experience, guests will be escorted to reserved front seating for ‘Give Kids The World Presents: Tony Baxter.
- Single Day General Seating ($34.99 + $1.87 Fee) – Doors open for general seating 30 minutes before the presentation.
- Two-Day General Seating ($59.99 + $2.50 Fee) – The two-day general seating ticket type allows guests access to both presentations by Tony Baxter. Doors open for general seating at 6:30 p.m. on April 7 and 1:30 p.m. on April 8, 2023.
Parking will be provided on-site at Give Kids The World Village. Upon arrival, please follow the signs to the employee parking lot at the south end of the property.
