Holiday Inn & Suites across from Universal Orlando completes major renovation
Holiday Inn & Suites across from Universal Orlando, a Universal partner hotel, just completed a multi-million-dollar renovation, which modernized all the rooms, the lobby, and meeting and event spaces.
The renovated hotel lobby is now modern and contemporary, and featuring abstract art and a communal table and chairs for guests to relax. Throughout the hotel a “coral coastal” color palette provides a bright atmosphere.

Updated Guest Rooms
The Holiday Inn & Suites across from Universal Orlando has 239 renovated guest rooms and 151 suites. The new seating in the living spaces creates a home-like feeling.
Guest rooms also have new lighting, headboards, nightstands, built-in closets, dressers, 55-inch TVs, and desks. In addition to the living and bedroom areas, kitchenettes also received upgrades with new mini-fridges, Keurig coffee machines, and microwaves (in suites only).
Upgraded Event Spaces
In addition to the lobby, and guest rooms, visitors can also relax in the hotel’s courtyard patio, which has a tropical modern feeling with updated landscaping.
For anyone looking to host an event at the Holiday Inn & Suites across from Universal Orlando, the hotel’s 13,000 square feet of meeting and event space has also been redesigned. The Grand Ballroom and Junior Ballroom were both completely redesigned with new paint, carpet, lighting, furnishings, and window treatments. Up to 500 guests can be accommodated in these event spaces. For smaller gatherings, modern cabinetry and stone tops were added to the Star Quarter’s Boardroom and Actor’s Room.
