Universal Orlando Resort’s holiday offerings and characters are back this winter for 51 days and nights of festive fun during the resort’s Holidays celebration.
Starting Nov. 13, 2021 and running through Jan. 2, 2022, guests can enjoy Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, see The Grinch and the Whos during Grinchmas, and experience the return of Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s — all included with theme park admission.
Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios Florida and Universal’s Islands of Adventure
The streets of Hogsmeade, Diagon Alley and London will be adorned with themed decorations, garlands and lights and the sounds of holiday-themed performances fill the air. Guests can enjoy hot Butterbeer while they listen to Christmas carols from the Frog Choir and the holiday hits of Celestina Warbeck and the Banshees.
Guests can close out their evening in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Hogsmeade with “The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle,” a transformation of the iconic structure with a projection display of holiday magic inspired by the Harry Potter films.

Grinchmas at Universal’s Islands of Adventure
Grinchmas will once again return to Universal’s Islands of Adventure, where guests can enjoy the “Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular,” a live retelling of Dr. Seuss’s “How the Grinch Stole Christmas.”
The fun continues in Seuss Landing, which will be transformed into a holiday wonderland full of themed décor like oversized candy canes, Christmas trees, wreaths and tinsel. Guests will also need to keep an eye out for resident Whos spreading Who-liday joy as they gear up for their favorite holiday.
Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s at Universal Studios Florida
With the return of Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s, guests will see more than 30 larger-than-life balloons take to the streets of Universal Studios Florida, as well as appearances by characters from “Despicable Me,” “Shrek,” and “Madagascar.” The parade also includes festive floats and performers, and — of course — Santa Claus himself, as he passes by and lights the 80-foot-tall Christmas tree.
In addition to these entertainment offerings, guests can also sip and sample holiday food and beverages and purchase themed merchandise for everyone on their shopping list throughout the resort. The holiday cheer continues at Universal Orlando’s hotels, where guests will find even more seasonal décor and holiday activities like festive meals, strolling carolers, holiday crafts, and more. Details on these specific offerings will be shared at a later date.
