New auto plaza at Disney’s Hollywood Studios to open on Nov. 8

The new vehicle entrance for Disney’s Hollywood Studios is set to open to guests on Nov. 8, changing how guests arrive and parking procedures at the theme park.

This new auto plaza is just one part of the overall re-imagining of Disney’s Hollywood Studios before the park’s 30th anniversary in 2019. With this new arrival area, guests should find it easier and more convenient to come and go from the park.

Starting Nov. 8, guests driving to Disney’s Hollywood Studios will use the new entrance and exit located just off Osceola Parkway. The current main entrance from World Drive and Osceola Parkway will be repurposed for cast members only, and the satellite entrance on Buena Vista Drive will be used only for buses.

When the new auto plaza opens, drivers can keep an eye out for one of the updated roadway signs throughout the Resort to find their way back to the park. Vehicles driving from southbound Victory Way can also find a connecting road leading to it.
