by Attractions Magazine Staff

With Hurricane Elsa getting ever closer to Central Florida, keep an eye on this page to see how it affects the area’s theme parks and attractions.

Here are the current updates for Central Florida’s theme parks. We will update this page throughout the storm as more information is shared:

Theme Parks

Walt Disney World Resort

  • The performance of the nighttime spectacular “Epcot Forever” has been canceled for Tuesday, July 6 due to Tropical Storm Elsa.

Busch Gardens Tampa Bay

  • Due to the anticipated impact of Hurricane Elsa, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay and Adventure Island will close at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, July 6 to ensure the safety of our ambassadors, guests and animals. At this time, the parks are expected to open at noon on Wednesday, July 7. Updates to the operating schedule will be communicated as needed.

Currently, select restaurants at some of Disney’s Resort hotels are offering Hurricane Meal Kits (also listed as simply “Meal Kits“), ranging from $6-10 in price. Each kit includes basic aspects of either breakfast or lunch, with options for both adults and children.
