IAAPA has compiled a list of attractions opening worldwide in 2016.
Orlando theme park fans may know IAAPA (International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions) for the organization’s enormous trade show at the Orange County Convention Center every November. But IAAPA is active all year round, and recently they released an extensive report detailing all the upcoming themed attractions scheduled to debut in North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa during 2016.

The following list comes direct from IAAPA, and some projects mentioned below could be delayed or modified prior to opening. It’s clear that virtual reality will continue to be this year’s hot trend in theme parks worldwide, along with old favorites like wooden roller-coasters and 4-D films.
