Icebar replacing Sprinkles Cupcakes at The Linq in Vegas

Icebar is opening this November at The Linq Promenade in Las Vegas, and will offer a frozen ambiance and icy cocktails alongside new, immersive features.

“We are presenting Las Vegas audiences with another exciting ice experience,” said Noel Bowman, owner of Icebar. “We know this coveted location will be attractive to leisure visitors strolling the Promenade, as well as corporate groups utilizing the nearby convention facilities, including the new Caesars Forum.”

Set to replace Sprinkles Cupcakes next to the Promenade’s fountain, construction on Icebar will begin this week. Icebar will have cool, blue and green décor elements and signage on the exterior, along with a 1,000-square-foot covered patio facing the Promenade’s fountain and a “warm space” with a warm bar and lobby at the front entrance.

The majority of the new space will be dedicated to the ice attraction, which will be 1,200-square-feet and encompass more than 100 tons of hand-carved ice. The space will be maintained at 32 degrees Fahrenheit by a state-of-the-art refrigeration system.

Once open, Icebar guests will put on parkas or faux fur coats and experience the venue’s chill vibes. Inside, visitors will see high-tech projection mapping, intricate ice sculptures and educational features that showcase the art of ice.

Guests ages 21 and older can choose from a menu of chilled cocktails – like The Ice Man, Frozen Mojito, and Frosé – all served in glasses made entirely of ice. The attraction will also offer family-friendly mocktails, like the Jack Frost and the Yeti.

Icebar will be available for private bookings and brand take-overs by corporate groups. Customized ice sculptures can be made for any occasion, and branded products can be encased in crystal-clear blocks of ice. Icebar can accommodate up to 500 guests with private bookings.

“At The Linq Promenade, we are always seeking the freshest, most distinctive mix of experiences for our guests,” said Shaun Swanger, senior vice president of attractions, retail and leasing for Caesars Entertainment. “The addition of Icebar represents our ongoing commitment to be the most vibrant entertainment, dining and retail destination in Las Vegas.”
