‘IT Chapter Two’ bringing interactive experience to Los Angeles

To celebrate the upcoming release of New Line Cinema’s “IT Chapter Two,” Derry is returning to the heart of Hollywood with The IT Experience: Chapter Two.

From Aug. 15 – Sept. 8, fans can gear up for the final chapter with a trip to Derry’s Canal Days Festival Fun House, which re-creates a key set piece from “IT Chapter Two”. The interactive, immersive experience will offer up 40 minutes of spine-tingling fun and a few scares.

During the festival activation, guests can play classic carnival games and step right up to the Ferris Wheel for a photo… but the bravest ones will enter the Fun House, where you never know who (or what) you’ll encounter. Inside will be 10 immersive rooms, including a hall of mirrors, creepy clown heavy bags, Derry’s sewers and more. While in the experience, guests could very well run into Pennywise, who is hiding around every twist and turn.

The IT Experience: Chapter Two will take over the corner of Hollywood & Vine, and will be open from 2-11 p.m. daily with free admission. All reserved times have been booked up, but there will be a standby/walk-up line for visitors without reservation times. Those in the walk-up lines who can show proof of their “IT Chapter Two” movie ticket purchase in IMAX format will be allowed to join the reservation line.

This event is for guests age 18 and older, but those who are age 17 can attend when accompanied by a parent, legal guardian, or responsible adult.
