‘Kingdom Keepers’ author Ridley Pearson to rewrite entire book series for Disney
Just after the news came out that a potential “Kingdom Keepers” television series was once in the works for Disney+, author Ridley Pearson has shared a bit more news about the beloved children’s novels.
Pearson shared on Twitter that Disney has asked him to rewrite the entire series of “Kingdom Keepers” books to reflect the more recent additions to the Disney Parks:
As a result of this, the upcoming novel, “Kingdom Keepers: Inheritance,” has been pushed back to March 2021.
With the updates, it is likely that we will see Pandora – The World of Avatar, New Fantasyland, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, and more added to these beloved stories.
Pearson confirmed that the updated books would receive new cover art, and also commented that rewriting the books has been a challenge:
The first three “Kingdom Keepers” books, featuring up-to-date details on the parks, will be released in the coming months.
