Knott’s Berry Farm’s Ghost Town Alive! gives guests the chance to be a part of the story.

Guests can experience the western town of Calico once again and continue the story, as Ghost Town Alive! is now open at Knott’s Berry Farm.

Open now through Sept. 4, Ghost Town Alive! brings cowboys, bandits, judges, robberies, a classic western hoedown and more. Billed as an authentic Western adventure, guests can become their own Wild West Star, with the power to unlock adventures and their own story.

The story of Ghost Town Alive! and the town of Calico continues this year, and starts a year after the Mayfield Gang escapes the custody of Sheriff Wheeler. Rumors spread around the town that the Mayfield Gang is back, and the townspeople need the help of the guests to keep Calico safe.

Guests will have a firsthand experience in this story, carrying out specific tasks and playing their role as a citizen of Calico.

“Ghost Town Alive! has taken Knott’s Berry Farm’s summer entertainment and the idea of ‘playing in a theme park’ to a whole new level. Guests of all ages will have the opportunity to not just interact with the citizens of Calico, but will have the ability to influence how the story takes shape,” said Jon Storbeck, the General Manager of Knott’s Berry Farm. “Our Entertainment team has been working all year in developing new storylines, adding new characters and activities that make up the lively town of Calico.”

In addition to the return of Ghost Town Alive!, Knott’s will also debut “Snoopy’s Magnificent Magical Revue” on select dates from June 10 – Aug. 20 in the Charles M. Schulz Theatre.. This brand-new magic show stars Snoopy and the Magician Extraordinaire Greg Wilson, and the entire Peanuts gang as they delight guests with their magical acts and musical numbers in this family friendly stage show.

“Traveling Circus” will also return this summer for another season of exciting performances. Held on the Calico Mine Stage in Ghost Town, guests can see death-defying stunts and exhilarating acrobatics in “Circus of Wonders.” This 30-minute showcase is packed with the classic circus acts, such as tightrope, trampoline, trapeze, aerial acrobatics, and of course, clowns. This show runs on select dates from June 10 – Aug. 20.

Ghost Town’s entertainment doesn’t stop there, as the “Wild West Stunt Show” and the “Calico Saloon Show” will also take the stage this summer. The Wagon Camp Stage will also be taken over, this time by “Krazy Kirk and the Hillbillies.” This knee-slapping country comedy show will have audiences belly-laughing and toe-tapping. This show will include a jug band, banjos, dueling fiddlers and vine dancing.

Knott’s Berry Farm also invites guests to celebrate Fourth of July and Labor Day weekends with a special fireworks show. The Buena Park horizon will be lit with a brilliant fireworks display on July 1-2 and 4, and Sept. 3.
