Knott’s Boysenberry Festival is back with dozens of boysenberry bites and sips

The Knott’s Boysenberry Festival at Knott’s Berry Farm in Buena Park, Calif., returns on March 18, 2022, with more than two dozen new boysenberry food and drinks.

Celebrating the Southern California theme park’s origins as a literal boysenberry farm, the fan-favorite festival will run an extra week this year, starting daily from March 18-April 24, 2022. Along with the lineup of delicious boysenberry-focused dishes and drinks that can only be found at Knott’s this time of year, the festival features local crafts, live music, and expanded family-friendly entertainment and activities.

The best way to be sure you don’t miss any of the new boysenberry items is by purchasing a tasting card that includes six tastings from the selection of dishes and drinks. The price for the tasting card is $50 ($45 for season pass holders). The signature boysenberry items will also be available for purchase a la carte.

Knott’s Boysenberry Festival Entertainment Includes:

• Snoopy’s Boysenberry Jamboree! – A musical stage show at the Calico Mine Stage featuring Snoopy, Charlie Brown, and the entire Peanuts Gang.
• Riverboat Revenge – A special presentation at the legendary Bird Cage Theatre that pays tribute to the park’s history in a brand-new comedy melodrama.

• Boysenberry Fun and Games – Some of the craziest and messiest games in Calico will have guests trying their berry best, including the popular Boysenberry Pie Eating Contest.
• Old MacDonald’s Barn – Guests of all ages can cuddle up to cute critters, including horses, sheep, goats, and other furry friends.                  
• Knott’s Totally Tubular 80’s Dance Party – Travel back to the ’80s and dance the night away to the decade’s best songs.          

• Fireman’s BBQ – Grab a seat (and a plate) and listen to musical duos perform bluegrass and country tunes
• Mariachi Angelitas – A lively show filled with history and tradition in Fiesta Village
• Boysenberry Blues – This blues trio performs smooth tunes at the Boardwalk BBQ patio
• History of the Boysenberry Museum – Get a slice of history in the museum dedicated to the berry that started it all

Guests can purchase limited-edition festival items to make boysenberry-inspired creations at home, including the new boysenberry microbrew BBQ sauce, boysenberry crème brulé coffee, boysenberry brownie cookies, boysenberry pepper bacon spread, and boysenberry balsamic grilling glaze. The Berry Market in the California Marketplace also features the park’s signature boysenberry items like boysenberry sarsaparilla and Knott’s famous jams and preserves.

In addition, artisan products will be available at the Boysenberry Festival Craft Fair, with 30 local craft vendors presenting boysenberry-themed items.

The Boysenberry Festival is included with admission to Knott’s Berry Farm or a special Knott’s Hotel Boysenberry Package that includes overnight accommodations, a tasting card, parking, and more. Additional costs apply for food tasting experiences within the event. Knott’s will offer extended hours on select days, March 18 – April 24, to allow guests to take full advantage of the limited-time offerings.
