L.A. Zoo Lights brings holiday cheer to Griffith Park
When the animals turn off for the night, the holidays turn on! An annual tradition for holiday-loving citizens of Los Angeles, L.A. Zoo Lights once again brings the holiday cheer under the stars at the L.A. Zoo located in the world-famous Griffith Park.

Every evening until Jan. 5, the zoo grounds will transform into a holiday wonderland with a disco ball forest, whimsical 3-D animations, a water-laser show and much more.

Zoo Lights guests can enjoy seasonal treats and visits with Santa for a festive family experience every night throughout the entire holiday season. Guests may enjoy new features added for the 2019/2020 season, including the world’s largest illuminated pop-up storybook, more light animals than ever before, hand-crafted Chinese silk lanterns, and a high-tech interactive display where dancing lights respond to guests’ voices.

The popular exhibit from years past, the Twinkle Tunnel, has been expanded and is now prime for your holiday selfies. These enhancements will create an immersive “Tunnel of Lights” within the massive 225-foot-long structure.
