Legoland California celebrates 10 years of Lego Ninjago
Legoland California Resort is celebrating 10 years of Lego Ninjago with a limited-time augmented reality (AR) digital experience from Aug. 13 – Sept. 5, 2021.
In a first for Legoland theme parks, visitors will have the chance to enter the world of Lego Ninjago and complete challenges alongside their favorite characters. The combination of AR and real-life experience follows Master Wu and his team of ninjas as they look for warriors to join their search for a missing Golden Amulet that holds the secrets of Ninjago.
The exclusive event invites visitors on a quest with Kai, Cole, Zane, Jay, Lloyd, and Nya to unlock six Golden Amulet fragments and reunite them to protect the Spinjitzu legacy. When they complete the quest, visitors will be rewarded with a mini-AR video of their adventures alongside the Ninjago team, as well as the chance to receive their very own Golden Amulet.
In addition to the Lego Ninjago AR experience, the Ninjago celebration also includes:
- Find the Ninja in Miniland – Spot Kai, Cole, Zane, Jay, Lloyd, Nya, and Master Wu so they can start their adventure
- Meet the Ninja – Character meet and greet
- Ninja Build – Create a Lego Dragon or Ninja and leave a mark on the Lego globe inside Rebuild the World
- Ninja Face Painting and Caricatures – Be transformed into Ninjago characters
