Brick or Treat

On Oct. 5-6, 12-13, 19-20, and 26-27, the kid-friendly Halloween event will offer new themed entertainment, more candy than ever, and plenty of ghoulish treats. To celebrate Legoland Pirate Island Hotel’s upcoming opening in spring 2020, kids (ages 2-12) who come dressed as pirates for the first weekend of Brick or Treat will receive a free ticket to visit the park again before the year’s end.

Activities during Brick or Treat include trick-or-treating along a Lego trail with “lightly frightful” character encounters, giant Lego builds, and meet-and-greets with seven event-exclusive Lego characters. Joining the fun this year is Lego Scarecrow, who can be found inside Duplo Valley.

Guests can sip in spooky style with an event-themed Coca-Cola Freestyle collector’s cup, take a bite out of Granny’s Apple Fries with pumpkin-flavored ice cream, and enjoy a variety of other Halloween-themed snacks.

To cap off the night, guests can experience the tale of Captain Dreadbeard during the “A Tale of Pirates’ Cove” fireworks spectacular each night of the event.

The Brick Dash 5K returns during this year’s Brick or Treat on Oct. 12. Runners are encouraged to come dressed in their Halloween costumes to run and raise money for Merlin’s Magic Wand, which helps children facing hardships due to serious illness, disability or adversity.

Holidays at Legoland Florida Resort

The fun continues Nov. 29 – Dec. 31 with Holidays at Legoland Florida Resort, featuring seasonal shows, snacks, and sparkling lights.

Guests visiting during this event can sing and dance along to two interactive shows: the family-friendly musical “Holly Jolly Jubilee” and “Rockin’ Around,” a Lego Christmas tree spectacular. Guests can also meet Lego Santa and Toy Soldier and take part in giant holiday-themed Lego builds during this event.

On Brick or Treat event nights and from Dec. 26-31 during the Kids’ New Year’s Party, the skies above Legoland Florida will light up with a fireworks show designed to be viewed with complimentary Lego glasses, making it look as though thousands of Lego bricks are exploding above the park.
