Legoland Florida Resort has announced a brand-new, family-friendly music festival, coming to the park for one weekend only — Lego Vidiyo Music Fest!
Happening this Labor Day Weekend — Sept. 4-6, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. — this interactive music festival will feature “dance off” parties, interactive games, and pop-up performances. Photo opportunities set in “larger-than-life scenes” will be available, and guests are encouraged to dress up as their favorite music artist to win prizes.
Lego Vidiyo is a music video maker experience designed for children, aimed at celebrating and expanding their creativity and shared passion for music. Vidiyo helps children dream bigger by directing, producing, starring in, and safely sharing their own music videos, featuring tracks from around the world, including hits from Universal Music Group’s artists.
DJ L.L.A.M.A., the Lego Minifigure and musical superstar behind Lego Vidiyo, will headline the festival with two performances on each of the three event days on a specially-themed stage. During the event, families can also learn more about the world of Lego Vidiyo as they “get creative and produce their own content.”
L.L.A.M.A., whose name is an acronym for “Love, Laughter And Music Always,” is the first Lego Minifigure to sign a deal with a record label and the first artist to release a song via Lego Vidiyo. He will tour five Legoland Resorts around the world and perform onstage for fans. His debut single, “Shake,” is now available and features three-time Grammy winner Ne-Yo and newcomer Carmen DeLeon.
All event activities are included with general admission to the resort and select annual passes. Fans can follow along on social media as Legoland Florida shares “behind the bricks” moments of the festival and reveals more “reasons to party” in the coming months.
