About the YA novel ‘LIARLAND‘
The main character of “LIARLAND” is Gwen. Gwen gets a summer job at a theme park called Pineland. Everything seems cool until people suddenly begin dying, and her best friend goes missing. The serial killer then slides into her DMs with a threatening and odd request. Gwen must shut down the theme park, or her best friend will be the next victim.
While “freak accidents” and shady operations aren’t uncommon for Pineland, a request for a summer employee to shut the park down makes no sense. Nevertheless Gwen is desperate to save her friend. With the help of her “cute but off-limits neighbor,” Gwen makes a plan to find out who the serial killer is and save the life of her friend, as well as any other potential victims.
