As Disney’s Animal Kingdom continues to celebrate “The Lion King,” a new line of merchandise and a brand-new experience inspired by the animated film are coming to the park on July 19.
A new Dooney & Bourke collection will be available at Mombasa Marketplace and Discovery Trading Company.
The new line includes a satchel, crossbody and tote with a pattern featuring characters like Simba, Nala, Timon and Pumbaa. These bags will be available for guests to purchase on July 19, while supplies last.
Also on July 19, guests will be able to participate in a new scavenger hunt in Africa themed to “The Lion King.”
A few of the characters are hidden throughout Harambe Village via intricate carvings, and with every one you spot, you’ll add the corresponding sticker to your map. Guests can pick up the map at Outpost, Discovery Trading Company, Island Mercantile, and Mombasa Marketplace. Return your map, whether you choose to hunt for all the carvings or not, to Mombasa Marketplace in Harambe or The Outpost Shop in the Oasis by Sept. 28 or while supplies last for a special surprise. A limit of one surprise per map will be applied.
If you’re looking for even more ways to show off your love for Disney’s “The Lion King,” there are plenty of merchandise offerings that can be found in the park now!
