Lunar Launch Camp brings a weekend of space-themed fun to Legoland Florida
Lunar Launch Camp blasts off at Legoland Florida Resort from July 9-10, 2022, with space-themed build stations, face painting, giveaways, and more. And it’s all free with park admission.

For the first time ever, Miniland USA in Legoland Florida will host the two-day event, inviting families to take part in activities that include a visit to a “spaceport” to launch a rocket, helping to assemble parts that will create a moon mosaic, and assisting in building a giant working Lego telescope.
Families can join in the fun at five interactive stations, all in the shaded area of Miniland USA near the space shuttle installation.
Lunar Launch Camp interactive stations:
- “Space” painting
- Mission to the Moon photo booth
- Spaceport rocket launch
- Moon mosaic
- Telescope build
Along the way, guests can collect a special badge at each station.
Lunar Launch Camp is included with park admission, and with select annual passes. All events are subject to cancellation if the weekend sees inclement weather.
Along with Lunar Launch Camp, guests can enjoy all of the park’s rides, attractions, and shows. Starting November 2, 2022, the park’s newest attraction, Pirate River Quest, will be open. Those who would like to extend their visit can choose from three Legoland Florida hotels, including Pirate Island Hotel.
