All-new parade ‘Magic Happens’ coming to Disneyland park
The first announcement from today’s Disney Parks, Experiences and Products panel at D23 Expo 2019 has been revealed: an all-new parade called “Magic Happens,” coming to Disneyland park in spring 2020.

The daytime parade, hosted by Mickey Mouse, will feature brand-new floats inspired by Moana, Pixar’s “Coco,” Sleeping Beauty and more, with a brand-new song from Broadway performer and YouTuber Todrick Hall.

On her voyager wa‘a (or canoe), Moana will travel forth on the crest of a wave, inspired by koa wood carvings inset with LED panels.

The float inspired by the Disney/Pixar film “Coco” will bridge the Land of the Living and the Land of the Dead with marigolds. Fantastical alebrije spirit animals will join the procession with Miguel’s dog, Danté.

The parade’s finale will feature a float inspired by “Sleeping Beauty,” which will feature Princess Aurora and Phillip, as well as the three fairies who will transform Aurora’s dress from pink to blue and back again.
