Back in June, Walt Disney World cancelled Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party for 2020. In return, guests that visit the Magic Kingdom from Sept. 15 to Oct. 31 can dress up in costumes, get speciality food, drink and merchandise options, and these Halloween-themed cavalcades.

We were invited to check out the new merchandise, food, beverages, and entertainment. Our reporter Quinn hosts this segment, where we get a close look at all things new and spooky at the Magic Kingdom. Here’s our full video report:

Winnie the Pooh Halloween Trolley

Tigger, Winnie the Pooh, and Eeyore.

Winnie the Pooh and friends have donned their favorite Halloween costumes. While the other three cavalcades go from Frontierland to Main Street, U.S.A., this Winnie the Pooh and Friends Cavalcade takes a different route. The characters take the horse-drawn trolley from the beginning of Main Street, U.S.A. to the Castle Hub and back.

Speciality markers are on the ground to help with social distancing, and cast members come through beforehand to remind guests to stay apart.

Mickey’s Happy Halloween Cavalcade

Mickey, Donald and Daisy wave to guests as their Cavalcade comes to the end of the route.

Mickey Mouse is joined by Donald, Daisy, Minnie and Pluto on a parade float for their Halloween-themed Cavalcade. They are lead by gravediggers, pirates, Sugar Rush racers, and dancers.

After their route down Main Street, U.S.A., Mickey and friends go up to the Walt Disney World Railroad Train Station. This has only happened with Mickey and friends and the Disney Princesses. The three other cavalcades did not come to the train station and instead were gone until they did the route again later.

Jack’s Nightmare Halloween Cavalcade

Jack and Oogie Boogie wave goodbye to guests as they head back.

Jack’s Nightmare Halloween Cavalcade was extremely popular. Jack Skellington waves and yells out to guests, while Sally leads on the front of the float and Oogie Boogie brings up the rear.

Sally, Jack and Oogie Boogie normally can only be seen during special events, but this special cavalcade can be seen by any guest with admission to Magic Kingdom.

Disney Villains Halloween Cavalcade

Maleficent heads down Main Street U.S.A. on a Chernabog themed Villains float.

The Disney Villains Halloween Cavalcade features many super-rare characters such as Maleficent, Captain Hook, the Evil Queen, Gaston, Bowler Hat Guy, the Queen of Hearts and Jafar.

These cavalcades do not have a set schedule, but starting around 10 a.m., they appear about every 15-30 minutes. There is even a version made for rainy days where the Disney Princesses or Winnie the Pooh characters ride on the Main Street Vehicles.
