Make reservations at Dollywood’s Heartsong Lodge for the holidays
Over a year after the announcement of the new resort, families can book a room at the brand-new Dollywood’s Heartsong Lodge & Resort beginning June 26, 2023, for holiday stays starting Nov. 3, 2023.
Inspired by the “park-itecture” of grand National Park lodges, Dollywood’s Heartsong Lodge will blend into the surrounding foothills. Located just 10 miles from the entrance to Great Smoky Mountains National Park, many of the resort’s 302 rooms offer balconies with sweeping views.
“Everyone is going to be in awe as soon as they walk through the front doors,” said Eugene Naughton, Dollywood Parks & Resorts President.
The Lodge embraces the outdoors with four-story, lantern-inspired windows in the lobby atrium that flood the space with natural light. High ceilings, exposed beams, and natural textures bring the outdoors inside and welcome families to the Smokies.
Guest rooms offer many options from multi-generational families to couples including bunk rooms, themed suites, and loft rooms tucked in dormers – all themed to the flora and fauna found in the Smokies such as wildflowers, fireflies, and, of course, black bears. [I even heard there was a Big Bear spotted in the region recently.] Other resort amenities include indoor and outdoor pools as well as an outdoor cove with family gathering spaces.
Dolly Parton’s not known for leaving her guests hungry, and Dollywood’s Heartsong Lodge will feature delicious new dining options in its full-service restaurant, lounge, private dining room, and Songbird Market Grab & Go eatery. In addition, Honeysuckle & Pine Storied Goods Mercantile will offer unique gifts and treasured keepsakes to take home after a visit.
Big Bear Mountain Now Open at Dollywood
Earlier this summer, Dollywood opened its Big Bear Mountain roller coaster, the largest single-attraction investment in the resort’s history, and families staying at an official Dollywood Resort can ride the park’s longest roller coaster before everyone else.
A stay at either of Dollywood’s on-site resorts, includes special benefits including priority access to Dollywood or Splash Country, early park entry on Saturdays for exclusive ride time on one of Dollywood’s attractions, complimentary Dollywood TimeSaver passes, door-to-door transportation to and from the park, and package delivery for items purchased inside the theme park.
Dollywood’s Heartsong Lodge & Resort will be open in time for Dollywood’s award-winning Smoky Mountain Christmas celebration, scheduled to run from Nov. 4, 2023 to Jan. 6, 2024.
