Making dining reservations at Disney resorts will soon be easier

Recent updates to the My Disney Experience and Disneyland apps have already made it easier to find quick and nearby food options through mobile order, book dining reservations, and find water bottle refilling stations in the parks.

Hungry guests can now sort the list of mobile order locations to see which ones are close by and which offer the earliest available pickup times. They can also book table service dining by viewing all availability for a single day sorted by meal period (breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner). But soon, diners will also be able to view available reservations for a specific restaurant and dining availability for multiple days at a time.

“With a single search, you can view available dining reservations for any given restaurant for up to ten days at a time,” wrote Walt Disney World Communications Manager Josh Higgins in the Disney Parks Blog. “It will make scheduling dining reservations for your entire vacation much easier.”

Change of plans? No problem! Thanks to an update made last year, dining reservations can be changed or canceled up to two hours before the reservation time at most Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort locations (check each restaurant’s dining policy to make sure this applies to your reservation).

Added Benefit for Staying Onsite

Guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel can make dining reservations 60 days before arrival for their entire stay (up to ten nights) rather than checking availability daily.

Disneyland Resort hotel guests have preferred access to a limited number of reservations at select Disneyland Resort hotel table-service restaurants during their stay (link Disneyland Resort hotel confirmation to Disneyland.com account to be eligible for the benefit).
