Memento Mori, a new merchandise location dedicated to The Haunted Mansion, has materialized in Liberty Square at the Magic Kingdom.
The new gift shop is located in the former Yankee Trader store near the exit of The Haunted Mansion. Memento Mori is the destination for plenty of Haunted Mansion Authentic merchandise created for Disney Parks. There is a purchase limit of six items per style, per guest, per day.
The story goes that this space used to be the abode of Madame Leota. Guests may catch an image of her inside the store, or even hear her voice if they listen carefully.
On busy days, a small queue may form outside its side entrance at the Liberty Square/Fantasyland divide.
Here’s a look at the costumes for Cast Members working inside Memento Mori.
Lots of Haunted Mansion merchandise, both new and old, fill this store.
A majority of the merchandise is part of the new Haunted Mansion Authentic line.
There are several little effects inside Memento Mori that you may see, including this portrait of Madame Leota that changes under special lighting.
There is a small room where guests can get their photo taken to be turned into a special lenticular image. Be sure to get a close look at the wallpaper inside here.
Here’s a look at what the finished lenticular photo looks like. It’s $19.95, must be paid for before having your photo taken, and is ready for pickup in about five minutes.

A select amount of items available at Memento Mori are also available online at DisneyStore.com/HauntedMansion.
We will have an interview with Steven Miller about this new shop and a showcase some of the items found inside on the Oct. 9, 2014 episode of The Attractions Show.
