Midwest’s first, only tailspin waterslide Tidal Wave now open at Hurricane Harbor Rockford

Hurricane Harbor Rockford has opened the Midwest’s first and only tailspin waterslide, Tidal Wave!

Towering at 43 feet above the ground, this waterslide sends riders through a swirling descent filled with new AquaLucent visual effects that create bursts of colors and patterns.

“The new Tidal Wave waterslide is unlike anything our guests have ever experienced before,” said Hank Salemi, park president of Six Flags Great America. “This unique attraction makes a great addition to the park as Hurricane Harbor Rockford’s 12th attraction.”
