Minifigure Speedway dueling coaster opening at Legoland Windsor in 2024
When Minifigure Speedway opens at Legoland Windsor in Spring 2024, it will be the UK’s first Lego dueling coaster and the park’s fastest coaster (racing both forward and backward).
Families will board either Team Legends or Team Allstars cars and race at nearly 35 mph through the dual track layout. Legoland partnered with German attractions manufacturer Zierer to create the speedway circuit.
Helen Bull, divisional director at Legoland Windsor Resort, said “Minifigure Speedway is set to get pulses racing when it opens next spring and will be the fun seeker’s favorite amongst families.”
Minifigure Speedway continues the expansion at Legoland Windsor. Last month, the park opened the word’s first Lego indoor golf experience, Lego Adventure Golf, with four different family-friendly courses. The UK’s first Lego Ferrari Build and Race attraction opened in May with the world’s first life-sized Lego Ferrari Daytona SP3.
In addition to Minifigure Speedway, Legoland Windsor will open Legoland Woodland Village in 2024.
The new village will allow families to stay in their own Lego-themed cabin in a park-like setting. Legoland Woodland Village will open in May 2024 with 150 lodges on a 10-acre site along with camping inspired cuisine at the Clubhouse Restaurant and Bar.
