Minifigure Speedway roller coaster now open at Legoland Windsor
Minifigure Speedway, a dueling roller coaster that travels forward and backward, is now open at Legoland Windsor in the U.K.
Start Your Engines on Legoland’s Minifigure Speedway
Traveling forward and backward, and reaching speeds of 56 km/h (or 34.8 mph), Minifigure Speedway is the fastest coaster in the park. The attraction costed £10 million (or $12.7 million) to build.
As part of the speedway circuit theme, coaster trains race on adjacent tracks. The attraction features appearances by minifigures Roxie, Butterfly Girl, Hotdog Man, Bumblebee Girl, Shark Suit Guy.
Guests must be at least 1.05m (or 41.3 in.) tall to ride Minifigure Speedway.
