The projection mapping show, a first for Hong Kong Disneyland, will act as a finale to the Castle’s trilogy, which began with the Castle’s opening in 2022, followed by the stage show, “Follow Your Dreams” in 2021.

Disney characters’ stories play out as a heartwarming journey of life in “Momentous,” through projection mapping, water projections, theatrical lighting, lasers, choreographed water fountains, flames, pyrotechnics, and fireworks, all set to classic Disney music set in new arrangements.

“More than five years in the making by our world-class talents from Hong Kong, United States, and around the world, the long-awaited nighttime spectacular will arrive in mid-June,” said Alex Clifton, executive director, entertainment and costuming of Hong Kong Disneyland Resort. “‘Momentous’ is a breathtaking, never-before-seen production that explores hope and inspiration, love and laughter, hardship and perseverance, reflection and celebration.

“This magical experience will take guests on an odyssey of life’s cherished moments, as told through the lens of Disney stories, music, and multimedia effects. We can’t wait for guests to travel on this journey with us and be reminded of how precious time is.”
