More dining options returning to Walt Disney World this fall

Walt Disney World has announced that additional dining options will be returning this fall as part of the resort’s phased reopening – including a modified character dining experience.

Starting Sept. 24, guests can once again dine in the enchanted setting of Cinderella’s Royal Table at Magic Kingdom.

This experience includes banquet fit for royalty, with main courses ranging from roasted chicken breast to chef’s fish of the day. The Disney Princesses will not be greeting guests when this offering returns, but Disney said that “there will be plenty of delicious fare and fun to be enjoyed.”

UPDATE: We attended the first reopening day and captured this video:

On Sept. 25, Minnie’s Seasonal Dining returns to Hollywood & Vine at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Guests can get in the spooky spirit with Minnie’s Halloween Dine, complete with a monster feast served to the table. Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and more of their friends will make an appearance, allowing guests to wave and snap photos of the characters from their table.

Both of these experiences will be available for reservations online and in the My Disney Experience app beginning Sept. 11.

In addition, more snack and quick-service options will also be reopening at Walt Disney World. Gaston’s Tavern at Magic Kingdom will reopen on Sept. 4, and the ABC Commissary at Disney’s Hollywood Studios will reopen for walk-in quick service for lunch starting Oct. 8.
