Universal Orlando hasn’t officially announced what’s being constructed around The Simpsons Ride and Kwik-E-Mart at Universal Studios Florida, but the markings on one of the buildings is unmistakable to fans of the television show. More of the fictional town of Springfield is coming to the area as Moe’s Tavern and most likely Krusty Burger and Gulp ‘N’ Blow are being constructed in the former International Food & Film Festival food court area. Here’s a look at the construction:

Moe's tavern at Universal Studios Florida. These design of these “wood planks” is unmistakable. It’s going to be Moe’s Tavern. Check out this screen shot from the show:

Krusty Burger construction at Universal Studios. The facade to the right of Moe’s is most likely going to be Krusty Burger. It features the same sloped roof and is the most well known restaurant on the show. Here’s a look at the fast food restaurant as depicted in The Simpsons Tapped Out mobile game:

Gulp 'n' Blow at Universal Studios Florida. We’re less sure about this one. Our best guess is that it’s the Gulp ‘N’ Blow fast food restaurant from The Simpsons. Here’s how it looks in the Tapped Out game:

Stay tuned. We will bring you the official details on The Simpsons expansion when they are released by Universal Orlando.

Nothing new beyond what we’ve already reported, that it will be the London area of Wizarding World of Harry Potter with a Gringots Bank coaster ride and Hogwarts Express to take guests between the parks. But Universal hasn’t announced any of this yet.

My guess for one of the buildings would be Phineas Q. Butterfat’s Ice Cream Parlor. That would be perfect for a long hot summer, and a very cute name at that!
