Here are some of the new National Geographic Day Tours:

The History of Pasta in Naples, Italy –Travelers will join a local historian in Gragnano (the global epicenter of dried pasta) to visit a reconstructed water mill that is rarely open to the public. The tour also includes a tour of a family-run pasta factory to make fresh pasta and enjoy lunch made with ingredients from the garden. This tour was inspired by the National Geographic Magazine article “The Twisted History of Pasta,” which points to 13th-century references to pasta dishes, including macaroni, ravioli, and more.

Homage to Miro in Barcelona, Spain – Discover the artwork of Miró – paintings, sculptures, murals, paper, and lithographs inspired by artists and poets he met on his journeys, including Pablo Picasso – and learn about the interaction of the pieces with the spaces created by architect Josep Lluis Sert to house them.
