New change makes Disney online restaurant reservations easier to get

A small, but good change is coming to both Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort when it comes to making online dining reservations.

If you’ve ever tried to get reservation in the Disney World or Disneyland app or website, you know it takes many clicks to see all the different options. If you click on Lunch, for example, you see three time choices, if any are available. But surely there are more times, right? So you have to click on different times, such as 1 p.m., then 1:30 p.m., then 2 p.m., just to see if something pops up for 1:15 p.m., or 1:55 p.m. It’s a lot of clicking.

Well a new change is now rolling out which will show you all the available times for each Disney restaurant with minimal clicks, and it will also show you if that time is considered a breakfast, lunch, or dinner period, so you know which menus will be available.

Disney says these changes will make the guest experience more convenient so guests can spend more time enjoying their visit. These updates will roll out in phases across the websites and iOS and Android platforms.

Disney also recently expanded the window to modify or cancel dining reservations from 24 hours before, to two hours before a scheduled reservation at most locations.
