New details announced for Space 220 Restaurant at Epcot

New details have been released for Space 220 Restaurant, Epcot’s upcoming dining establishment in Future World.

This restaurant will invite guests to dine in the cosmos as they take a simulated trip 220 miles above the Earth for an out-of-this-world culinary experience in the stars.

Your experience begins when a crew member invites you to step inside the restaurant’s space elevator to prepare for liftoff. Once you’ve made it to the Centauri Space Station, suspended just beyond the orbit of Mission: SPACE, you’ll dock and disembark. You’ll be guided to your seats past the grow zone, a spinning wall of produce that mimics Earth’s gravity and represents some of the ingredients used by the culinary team.

“I look forward to welcoming guests to Space 220, an immersive culinary journey intended to celebrate the wonders of our solar system and transport guests 220 miles above Earth’s surface to experience the height of dining,” said Nick Valenti on behalf of Patina Restaurant Group, operators of the table-service restaurant and lounge.

Space 220 will feature a panorama of a space station alongside its gourmet food offerings. Guests can expect to see passing satellites and floating astronauts as they take in interstellar dishes during this unique dining experience.
