Disney Vacation Club has announced that the first-ever Disney Vacation Club lounge at Disneyland Resort – the “Disney Vacation Club Star View Station” – is coming to the California park in 2023.
The new member lounge is expected to open in the first half of 2023 on the second floor of the Star Wars: Launch Bay building in Tomorrowland and will include a dedicated DVC Member Services team, complimentary Wi-Fi, device-charging stations, and more.
Exclusive member spaces are part of what Disney Vacation Club calls “Membership Magic,” and include the Top of the World Lounge at Disney’s Contemporary Resort and the Member Lounge inside the glass pyramid of the Imagination! pavilion at Epcot. When Disneyland’s first DVC lounge opens, it will be available to eligible members with valid park tickets and reservations to Disneyland Park.
Disney Vacation Club debuted in 1991 with a flexible, vacation points-based system rather than the traditional fixed-week timeshare model. Members can stay at any Disney Vacation Club Resort or one of the thousands of other vacation options worldwide. Plus, when purchasing directly from Disney, Members can also enjoy the Disney Collection, which includes select Disney Resort hotels, Disney Cruise Line, guided vacations with Adventures by Disney, and the Concierge Collection, “a portfolio of extraordinary hotels in sought-after destinations.” Vacations at a Disney Vacation Club Resort can last from one night to several weeks.
There are currently 15 Disney Vacation Club properties across four states, including Disney’s Riviera Resort and Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa in Orlando, and Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa in Hawaii. In addition, construction is underway at the proposed new Disney Vacation Club Resort at Disneyland Resort, a 12-story tower called The Villas at Disneyland Hotel.
