New float elements revealed for Pixar Play Parade at Disneyland Resort

Pixar Play Parade makes its long-awaited return to Disneyland on April 13, as part of the limited-time Pixar Fest event. As the first announcement of the 12 Days of Disney Parks Christmas, three new story elements for the parade have been revealed:

The parade will now begin as all Pixar films have before it, with a special appearance by Luxo, the iconic Pixar Lamp, with the Luxo Jr. ball rolling just ahead of it.

Also making an appearance in the parade are characters from the film, “Up.” Russell will appear in his Wilderness Explorer finest astride his colorful flightless bird, Kevin, with Carl and Dug following behind in a patch of green foliage with snipe chicks, while Carl’s house floats above.

The final new Pixar story joining the fun is “Inside Out.” Joy and Sadness will fly in Bing Bong’s rocket wagon as it is perched on top of colorful memory orbs, with Bing Bong cheering them on in the back.
Guests will be able to see these new elements when Pixar Play Parade returns to the Disneyland Resort, starting on April 13 at Disneyland Park. Check out more of what’s to come during Disneyland’s Pixar Fest here.
