The first and only alpine snow park in Florida has revealed its official park name, logo, and concept art to the public.

Scheduled to open in November 2020, this snow park – named Snowcat Ridge – will feature a giant snow tubing hill, Alpine Village, and a 10,000-square-foot snow play dome.

The snow tubing hill will be 60 feet tall and 400 feet long, with a “magic carpet” lift that will bring riders and their tubes to the top. Guests can ride in a single, tandem, or six-person family tube to slide down the slope.

“Our team has been working very hard over the last few years to bring our alpine snow park to reality,” said Benjamin Nagengast, CEO of Snowcat Ridge. “Snowcat Ridge will be unlike anything anyone has seen before in the Sunshine State and we are incredibly excited to unveil our vision for the new alpine snow park today.”

Inside the snow dome, guests can build snowmen or “snow castles” out of real snow. The dome will also offer a child-sized snow hill for younger guests to enjoy.

“Some folks think it’s impossible to experience snow tubing and the joy of snow in Florida, but our team is all about making the impossible, possible,” said Mark Bremer, creative director of Snowcat Ridge. “The new alpine snow park will be unique in all regards and our team is thrilled to be launching in November 2020.”

The park will also present a “magical” light show in the evenings, both on the snow hill and inside the snow dome.
