The Promenade at Sunset Walk already features more than 20 merchants, and hosts events such as the Car & Truck Show, live bands, and an artisan and farmers market, but now it’s celebrating three grand openings, a large St. Patrick’s Day street party, and the return of an old favorite.

What’s New:

Lizzie’s Memphis Style BBQ is the place for smokey barbequed meats, tender brisket sandwiches, and southern sides, including cornbread muffins, sweet potato casserole, and creamy coleslaw. Choose from a vast menu of starters, sandwiches, entrees, soups, and sides. Family Packs are also available.

The Wharf restaurant and bar specializes in seafood dishes, with an oyster bar featuring fresh shellfish daily. Come for the food, stay for the entertainment. Regional bands play throughout the week, and national recording artists perform at regularly scheduled concerts.

River Street Sweets • Savannah’s Candy Kitchen provides tantalizing made-from-scratch sweet treats with a distinctly “Georgia” flair. Pick up hand-stretched peanut brittle, a homemade pecan pie, or a bag of saltwater taffy, and, no matter what your favorite indulgence is, you won’t want to miss their World-Famous Pralines. Stop by the storefront, where free samples are offered in the nostalgic setting of an old-fashioned candy store.

What’s Coming:

New live entertainment is on the menu too, and on Wednesday, March 17, The Promenade at Sunset Walk plays host to an Outdoor Street Party and Celebration of St. Patrick’s Day, with live music by Herbie & the Gators. Enjoy Irish songs, classic Dubliners, and the latest rage in traditional tunes, sea shanty music. Street performers and lucky Leprechauns will also be on hand, and The Promenade’s restaurants will be serving up traditional food and beverage specials. Be sure to wear green! Admission is free.

What’s Happening:

Sunset Walk’s Artisan and Farmers Market will begin operations again, every Saturday from 11:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., with more than 30 Central Florida craft and specialty vendors and a vast selection of fresh produce.
