New Year’s pin trading event to be held at Disney’s Animal Kingdom
This year’s New Year’s Eve celebration at Walt Disney World will feature a new pin trading opportunity at Disney’s Animal Kingdom!
On Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2019, guests will find pin trading boards displaying over 90 pins throughout the park’s lands of Africa, Asia, DinoLand U.S.A., and Discovery Island. Each display will include Hidden Mickey pins and pins from Disney Parks around the world.
Guests will be able to trade pins from these displays during the following times:
- 1:00 – 2:00 p.m.
- 2:45 – 3:45 p.m.
- 5:45 – 6:45 p.m.
- 7:30 – 8:30 p.m.
Each guest will have just one minute to trade two Disney pins off of these special trading boards, so be sure to get to them early to check out what’s available for trade.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom will also be celebrating the holiday with a 2020 commemorative pin with a limited edition of 1,000, which will be available for purchase starting at 7 p.m. If you want to pick one up, visit Discovery Trading Company starting at 7 a.m. to receive a numbered wristband that will allow you to purchase up to two pins starting at 7 p.m., also at Discovery Trading Company. The line-up to purchase will begin 15 minutes before the posted sale time.
