Oasis at Lakeport will offer 20 acres of thrill and family rides and attractions, hotels, restaurants, a marina and boardwalk, an amphitheater, and a 200-foot observation wheel. The goal of St. Louis-based SkyView Partners and Tegethoff Development is to make this new complex a premiere Midwest tourist destination.

The rendering of the new park shows what appears to be roller coasters, water slides, the observation wheel, a drop or observation tower, a slingshot ride, and more.

Location

The property, located at Highway 54 and Jeffries Road, adjacent to the Grand Glaize Bridge, was acquired by Big Thunder Marine in 2021 with the focus of developing it into a family-focused entertainment epicenter that would bring commerce to the Lake of the Ozarks community.

More jobs and a boost to Missouri’s tourism

“The Osage Beach community has been asking for more family-friendly entertainment options, and I am proud to work with SkyView Partners and Tegethoff Development to help deliver such a large investment to our city,” said Michael Harmison, mayor of Osage Beach.

The Oasis at Lakeport will be a year-round entertainment destination encompassing 20 acres. The $300 million project will bring an estimated 500 jobs to the area and attract 500,000 visitors to Missouri, making it one of the state’s leading industries, according to Lieutenant Governor Mike Kehoe, who stated, “I welcome this project for its future impact on mid-Missouri’s economy as well as its commitment to bringing a centrally located, state-of-the-art entertainment district to the Osage Beach community.”

Construction for the Oasis at Lakeport is scheduled to break ground in 2023 with a projected opening of summer 2024.
