Oktoberfest brings a taste of Germany to Icon Park

Oktoberfest will bring the tastes – and beer-fueled toasts – of the season to International Drive’s Icon Park each weekend from September 16-October 2, 2022, with brews, food, and live entertainment.

The annual celebration of autumn and beer in Munich, Germany comes to Icon Park for the first time ever, with a selection of four seasonal-brew beer flights at The Lawn Bar for $16, commemorative 32-ounce glass steins filled with your chosen ale, stout, or lager for $22, and German foods such as bratwurst and sauerkraut, chicken schnitzel, pretzels with beer cheese, and apple strudel to help soak up the suds.

Dance to Bavarian music provided by Stammtischler, which adds to the family-friendly ambiance as they crank out Oom Pah sounds of polkas and waltzes, plus traditional landlers and boarischers on their Bavarian button accordion, tenor horn, wooden spoons, and Alphorn.

It all takes place in the shadow of The Wheel, which will be open for guests to enjoy sky-high panoramic views.

Those who would like a beer with their flight will find a cooler with seasonal selections for purchase at the Sky Bar before boarding The Wheel.

Icon Park’s Oktoberfest celebration takes place on Fridays from 5-10 p.m. and on Saturdays and Sundays from 2-10 p.m., from Sept. 16-Oct. 2.
