Orlando Science Center celebrates 15 years of Otronicon
Orlando’s interactive technology expo, Otronicon, is returning to the Orlando Science Center to celebrate 15 consecutive years.
From Jan. 17-20, tech enthusiasts can connect with industry leaders and learn about careers in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics), experience the future of gaming and design, see the latest in medical and military technologies, take part in hands-on workshops led by industry professionals, and more.
Otronicon is the Orlando Science Center’s largest annual event, and this upcoming iteration will feature multiple industry partners, including University of Central Florida, Walt Disney World Resort, Microsoft, Lockheed Martin, among others. Attendees will get to travel the Science Center’s exhibit halls to experience the latest advancements in augmented, virtual, and mixed reality, fly jet missions, perform surgery, and even ride a roller coaster.
Admission to Otronicon is free for Orlando Science Center members, $21 for adults, $19 for seniors and students, and $15 for youth (ages 2-11). The expo will be open from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. on event dates.
