Patrick Mahomes went to Disneyland (again)!

Right after leading the Kansas City Chiefs to a 25-22 overtime victory against the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII, Chiefs Quarterback Patrick Mahomes headed to Disneyland with his family.

Mahomes was named Super Bowl MVP after throwing the game-winning touchdown pass to Mecole Hardman with three seconds left in overtime, the third time he’s earned that title – and therefore the third time he’s been featured in the famous “I’m Going to Disneyland!’’ TV commercial.

Fun Fact: Whether the MVP goes to Disneyland or Walt Disney World depends on where the Super Bowl is played.

Patrick Mahomes Cavalcade

Mickey, Minnie, and Mahomes led a confetti-filled cavalcade through Disneyland Park, from “it’s a Small World to Main Street, U.S.A., with fans cheering all along the route (though hopeful Swifties were likely disappointed that Taylor Swift and Mahomes’ teammate Travis Kelce were not part of the celebration).

After the cavalcade, the Super Bowl MVP and his family enjoyed a super day in the parks, riding attractions, meeting characters, and enjoying the beautiful Southern California weather before returning to Kansas City to celebrate with the hometown fans.

Mahomes joins a long list of NFL stars who’ve participated in Disney’s long-standing Super Bowl tradition, which began in 1987 when New York Giants quarterback Phil Simms first appeared in the commercial following his team’s Super Bowl win.
