Running on weekends through March 1, guests can enjoy special activities themed to the Peanuts, including a brand-new stage show, “Happiness Is…” Offerings include interactive character interactions, new Peanuts-inspired décor, comic strip-themed photo-ops (including a never-before-seen photo backdrop in Camp Snoopy), live shows, festive merchandise, and new themed seasonal food offerings.

At the Calico Mine Stage during the day, the Peanuts characters will debut “Happiness Is…,” a new musical stage show for guests, featuring Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Peppermint Patty, and Linus. The show will feature the Peanuts as they learn self-discovery, being proud of their friends, and the differences that make everyone special. At night, the Peanuts will be joined by the family-friendly indie band The Jelly of the Month Club, performing a high-energy rock concert for the whole family.

In Fiesta Village, guests can take part in the Discoteca de Silencio, also known as a silent disco. This offering will be hosted by Snoopy’s brother, Spike.

Camp Snoopy Theater will host the “Space Beagle” show, featuring Charlie Brown and Lucy, as the world’s most famous beagle becomes the first dog on the moon. In Camp Snoopy, the Grand Sierra Railroad will invite kids to celebrate the Peanuts Gang as they head to the Beagle Bonanza in a fun ride overlay.

Peanuts-inspired festivities will also be offered at the Bird Cage Theatre with “Peanuts Sketch School,” where the park’s resident art teacher will show guests how to draw their favorite Peanuts characters.

At Calico’s Town Hall, a family-friendly Peanuts exhibit will be on display. Organized by the Charles M. Schulz Museum, the Pigskin Peanuts Exhibit follows the legacy of the Peanuts characters through their football-themed storylines. The exhibit also traces the origins of the iconic Peanuts gag, Lucy pulling the football away from Charlie Brown.

Franklin and Linus will transform into cowboys in the “Peanuts Cowboy Jamboree” at Calico Park, where they will challenge guests to fun games. Also in Ghost Town, Pigpen will be joining the rest of the Peanuts Gang with a special meetup at the Livery Stables with a few animal friends.

Knott’s Peanuts Celebration will also see festive overlays added to one of the park’s tallest attractions. Sky Cabin will transform into Woodstock’s Bird’s-Eye View. Guests will be seated on Woodstock’s nest as the bird takes them on a journey above the entire Peanuts Celebration.

On Sunday, Feb. 2, Knott’s will celebrate Charlie Brown Day by hosting the largest gathering of Charlie Browns in one picture. Guests are encouraged to sport his signature yellow zig-zag striped tee, black shorts, and red baseball cap. At a designated time, all guests dressed as Charlie Brown will be asked to gather at the Calico Mine Stage for the photo.
