Peppa Pig Theme Park is turning one
The World’s first Peppa Pig Theme Park opened last February next to Legoland Florida Resort in Winter Haven, and this weekend, the kid-friendly park will commemorate its first birthday with a three-day celebration.
Peppa Pig Theme Park opened last year as the Central Florida park preschoolers can call their own. The park’s “Turning One” party from Feb. 24-26, 2023, marks the milestone birthday starting at 9:00 a.m. on Friday with a welcome show featuring Peppa and her family in Mr. Potato’s Showtime Arena.
The weekend’s events also include “Move, Groove & Celebrate,” an interactive show featuring yoga poses; Peppa-centered games, and a celebration dance, a limited-time interactive show throughout the weekend. All the Peppa Pig fun is included with park admission.
Kids can also participate in a scavenger hunt to help Peppa find her friends so they can celebrate the theme park’s first year. Guests can pick up a party crown and follow the clues around the park to collect stickers of Peppa’s friends for the celebration. Kids will need to search around the park’s six “oinktastic” rides and six themed playscapes to complete their party crown. Plus, themed photo spots will be set along with the scavenger hunt trail.
Of course, the one-year celebration involves some treats courtesy of Miss Rabbit’s Diner, who created vanilla and chocolate Peppa’s Party Cupcakes with buttercream icing, sprinkles, and a party crown (guests can purchase a party pack of cupcakes for the whole family). For more sugary goodness, a Celebration Milkshake consists of a cake batter-flavored treat topped with whipped cream, sprinkles, and a party crown.
To be sure all kids can experience Peppa Pig Theme Park, the park focuses on accessibility for all attractions and playscapes, including Muddy Puddles Splash Pad, which received a leveling for wheelchair use to offer the ability to maneuver and play through all its water features. This theme park also earned the privilege of being a certified autism center. More information can be found here.
